Testing

Ways to exercise agents and policies without writing an app.

  • Playground (agent page): chat with the agent exactly as the API would run it. Charged like a run.
  • API Explorer: send real POST /v1/agents/:id/runs and POST /v1/actions requests as your workspace and see the full response.
  • Policy tester (policy page): try service.operation and amount against the rules as you edit them. Runs in the browser; nothing is charged or recorded.
  • Verify key (after creating a key): sends a free GET with the new key to prove it works.

Testing tools

Point a tool at a test endpoint you control and check the Gasket-Signature header. Each tool call appears on the run's Execution timeline with the HTTP status your endpoint returned.

Idempotent retries

Send an idempotency_key with POST /v1/actions to make retries return the same action without a new charge.
