Failed-payment recovery for Stripe Billing
Gasket stops the revenue Stripe leaves behind.
Every month a slice of your subscription revenue fails to charge. Stripe wins some of it back. Gasket shows you exactly what it missed, goes and gets it, and proves every dollar it recovers.

The leak
Failed renewals are revenue you already earned.
Cards expire. Banks decline. Limits get hit. The customer still wants the product; the payment just didn't go through. Whatever Stripe doesn't recover quietly becomes churn. Run your numbers:
These are your assumptions, not benchmarks. The starting values are examples. The free scan replaces all three with your real numbers from Stripe.

$2,500 fails every month. Stripe gets back $1,250. The other $1,250 is what Gasket goes after.

Stripe already retries. Gasket only counts what it adds.
Most recovery tools take credit for every payment that lands after their email. Gasket doesn't. A recovery counts for Gasket only when the customer acted after Gasket's email, within 7 days, in a way Stripe's retries couldn't have done for them.

How it works
Connect, scan, recover.
- 1
Connect a read-only key
Create a restricted Stripe key with read access. Gasket tests it and refuses it if it can write. Two minutes.
- 2
See the 12-month scan
What failed, what Stripe recovered, what's still unpaid, which decline types Stripe misses. Free, no card.
- 3
Approve the first emails
Gasket drafts short emails worded for each decline reason. In shadow mode nothing sends until you approve it.
- 4
Customers pay on Stripe
Every email links to Stripe's hosted invoice page. The sequence stops the moment the invoice is paid.
You stay in control
Read-only first. Shadow mode next. Automatic when you're ready.
Read-only
Where everyone starts
Scan and dashboard. Gasket can't contact anyone. Stay here as long as you like.
Shadow
You approve each email
Gasket drafts every email and shows why it exists. Nothing sends without your click.
Auto-send
After 5 approvals
Gasket sends on schedule. One switch stops everything instantly; a global kill switch sits above that.
Security
Built to be trusted with a Stripe account.
Gasket asks for the least access that works and makes every customer-facing action something you can see and stop.
How Gasket handles your dataRead-only Stripe key
Gasket tests every key and refuses ones that can write. It can't move money or change subscriptions.
No card data
Customers pay on Stripe's hosted page. Card numbers never touch Gasket.
Your key isn't in our database
Held by our connection provider. Gasket stores a reference, never the key.
Sending is gated
Your verified domain, your approval, a pause switch, and a global kill switch that fails closed.
Isolated by design
Row-level security on every table, tested with two accounts.
Delete anytime
Disconnect Stripe and every record Gasket stored from it is deleted.
Pricing
See what you lost before you pay us.
The scan is free and stays free. Recovery is a flat monthly fee. Your dashboard shows Gasket's recoveries apart from Stripe's, so every month you can check that Gasket earns its price.

Questions founders ask
Doesn't Stripe already do this?
Partly. Stripe retries failed charges and can send its own emails, and it recovers a meaningful share on its own. Gasket shows you exactly how much, then works on what's left. It never takes credit for what Stripe recovered.
What access does Gasket need?
A Stripe restricted key with read permission on Customers, Invoices, Subscriptions, Charges, PaymentIntents and Events. Gasket tests the key and refuses it if it can write anything.
Will Gasket email my customers without asking?
No. Every account starts read-only. In shadow mode you approve each email. Auto-send only becomes available after you've approved five, and you can stop all sending with one switch.
Where do customers enter card details?
On Stripe. Every email links to the invoice's Stripe-hosted payment page. Gasket never sees card numbers.
How does Gasket decide what it recovered?
Only invoices paid within 7 days after a Gasket email, where the customer acted (switched card, or paid before Stripe's next scheduled retry). Everything else is Stripe's or unknown.
What does it cost?
The scan is free. Recovery is $24.99, $59 or $99 a month depending on your MRR, billed through HandyPay. Cancel anytime; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Disconnecting Stripe deletes every invoice, email and event Gasket stored from your account.
