Use with AI agents (MCP)
Give a Gasket API key to Claude, Cursor or any MCP client.
Gasket is an MCP server. An AI client connected with your key gets tools to ask permission before acting, and follows the answer.
claude mcp add --transport http gasket \
"https://usegasket.xyz/api/v1/mcp?agent_id=agt_..." \
--header "Authorization: Bearer $GASKET_API_KEY"| Tool | What it does | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| request_permission | Ask whether the agent may do service.operation (with optional amount, input, reason). | $0.02 per new request |
| check_action | Current status of an action. | Free |
| report_result | Record succeeded or failed after acting. | Free |
| list_agents | Agents this key can act as. | Free |
NoteOver MCP, the AI asks and follows the answer, but Gasket can't physically stop a tool it doesn't sit in front of. For guaranteed control, run the agent on Gasket (tools go through the policy) or gate your own tool code with POST /v1/actions. The MCP endpoint needs the actions:write scope.
