| id | agt_… Stable. Used in API paths and on every record. |
| name, description | For people. |
| instructions | The system prompt for every run. |
| model | claude-haiku-5-5. |
| effort | low, medium or high: how much the model thinks before answering. |
| max_steps | Model calls per run (1–20). A run that needs more stops with max_steps_reached. |
| environment | test or live. Fixed. |
| status | active, paused or archived. Only active agents run or request actions. |
| policy_id | The policy every tool call and action is decided by. None means denied. |

Pausing an agent is immediate: its next request returns 409 agent_not_active. Resume it from its page.
